    The CRA has revised its T4117 Income Tax Guide to the Non-Profit Organization (NPO) Information Return and the T1044 Form – Non-Profit Organization (NPO) Information Return.  If an organization is a registered charity under the Income Tax Act they would not have to complete the form.

    The Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS) is the government body responsible for implementing the ONCA. This is the home page for their ONCA resources. In addition to the information on their webpage, you can request an electronic toolkit by emailing ONCAtools@ontario.ca. The kit includes newsletter and bulletin articles of varying lengths, Facebook posts, presentation slides, speaking points, presenter questions and answers and speaking points. MGCS advises that you may change fonts and layouts in the kit to fit your own communication style. However, to ensure a consistent message, wording should not be altered in any way.
