What’s changing under the ONCA?
The ONCA distinguishes between public benefit and non–public benefit corporations and sets out clearer rules for the operation of nonprofits. nonprofits will need to pay particular attention to what the ONCA says about:
- types of members and member rights
- numbers and responsibilities of directors
- rules for meeting and voting
- directives for financial reporting
